Although the course of my life took me down other career paths, I have always been a photographer at heart. From receiving my very first Kodak Pocket Instamatic at age eight, I was hooked. The idea of capturing a moment in time and enabling its preservation in perpetuity continues to intrigue me.

Until recently, photography has primarily been a way for me to document everything from grand adventures, to milestone events, to intimate family gatherings. Already a proud Mizzou Tiger, in 2022, I earned a second masters – an MA in Journalism from the Missouri School of Journalism, emphasizing in photojournalism. My goal is to build on my background in environmental protection and conservation and use my photography skills to help uncover the untold stories in our natural world.
